I was just at the engine plant in Milwaukee, and was told that the engine designers actually "put some vibrations" back in to the new engine.

When talking to a local dealer about that he said they were told it was smoother than a goldwing, and the MOCO thought most Harley riders wouldn't like that.

Harley worked with two focus groups. One, long term Harley riders and other makes. The other makes ( that Harley wants to win over ) want vibration free. The traditional riders want some vibration. Harley put some vibration in to keep current customers happy while producing a smoother motor to win riders of other makes.

I Bought a 2016 RGS last week I was going to trade in the spring but I don't like first design high priced items, got a decent trade on 14 SGS 25k miles and dropped 1500 off list

Hope you enjoy your '16, I've had 3 of them, still have 1. I also have a '17 SGS and it's flat amazing even after over 1000 miles I already have on it. '16s can be had a bargain prices now but there is a very good reason for that. The new design is awesome. Even after over 1000 miles on it I can't get over how smooth and quick it is.

i keep going to the dealer and riding one in hopes I will see what other m8 owners are bragging about, and I just don't see it. My 16 rgs rides almost identical and is identical to speed in a 1/4 mile race as my buddies m8. We both have an intake and I have a full exhaust where he only has SE mufflers. I am not seeing where or how everyone says they are so fast and have much more power. In reality they are both slow.............

How it's spread, LOL Now I've heard it all, a friend that just bought one says he was told that it would do 125 MPH. I think I know what's being spread.

Do you own one, ridden one, maybe check out Fuel Motos dyno charts on a stock 17 to see how the touque is spread out alot differen than the TC and why others including myself(an owner of one and previous owner of an, 04,07,and 11. know theres a big difference Maybe you oughta do a little real resrarch. Only thing being spread around here is the hot air from you runnin your yap.
