If I hadn't just bought my '15 a year ago, I'd be on a '17 RGS in a heartbeat. Seriously.

Personally, I'd either buy a leftover '16 at a big discount or wait one more model year to see how this new motor/drive train actually pans out.

Just IMO, other's opinions may vary.

Street Glide is for Looking Cool and they do look that.

the EG and RG are for Touring and I think both look Cool - EG wins by a smig, lol

Call your dealer and ask - What is the cost of s stage 1 on a 16 and 17 - the answer just May be a hint on which way to go. If you Plan to leave the drive/engine 100% alone - the 17 might work for you. There are some screaming deals out there on the 16's that are left... go take a look
