Default Windshield for 2017 Street Glide

Sorry, meant to post this in Rushmore section.

I searched and could not find a thread dedicated to this subject. Just purchased a 2017 Street Glide Special. Love the bike and plan to keep this one primarily stock since my need for speed is met by other bikes, but the buffeting is bad. What windshield is best for these bikes. (I had a Madstad on a 2009 RG but the owner of Madstad informed me they could not create a good windshield for the batwing.)

Any windshield that fits a Rushmore will fit your bike.

There are many aftermarket manufacturers that make excellent shields.

Size and style will depend on your height and personal preferences.

There are very many threads on the Rushmore forum that can point you in a general direction.

Also, try your local dealers loaner shields.

Good luck. Enjoy the new ride. I'm jealous.

I'm 6'4 and found that the CVO street glide windshield is actually very nice and stylish. I have a clockwerks for touring but it looks funny without the trunk on the bike.

Klockwerks seems to be the most popular. I know it works well for me.

I ran a Klockwerks for about 10000 miles. Then I tried the HD 10" Windsplitter and it is amazing. Love it.

What seat do you have? And is it comfortable, does it change your seating position? Looking for the perfect seat is all. Stock sucks!

Haha I am on seat #5. Ended up with the Low Ultra seat. Seating position is perfect for me now.

Thanks, how's the profile on it now? Do you have a side shot? I prefer a low profile with all day comfort. Is that possible?

Oh, sorry about the hijack, op. But, you'll probably appreciate this info too.

It's about as low profile as you will get that affords any type of comfort. I am happy. If you are running without a Tourpak the passenger seat will look a bit big, but so do most touring seats. I don't have any pics right now.
