HD360 Oil Changes @ 2,500 miles?

There is a difference between doing what is required and doing the best you can for your bike. Most Harley owners go above and beyond warranty requirements.
If all you care about is your warranty; you can use Harley's 360 motor oil at the recommended changes in your book. It's your ride and your call.
Personally, I would not be upset with your dealer. He is telling you what he recommends. I go beyond that. I, as many, prefer a good full synthetic oil for the engine. ( Syn3 is a blend, not full synthetic ) Synthetic transmission oil for the trany, engineered to serve as trany fluid and primary oil for the primary.
Congrats on your bike

I agree 100% with what your saying but I have rode this "Best Oil" train numerous times before and the ones that really benefitted from my going with "The Best" were the next owners. This time around I have a 4 year warranty and my wife said that if I'm still riding when it runs out (I'll be 70), I can buy a new one.
