Windshield Advice
I am in the process of looking for a windshield for my 2015 RGS. Narrowed down to Windvest, Freedom Shields and LRS.
I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam and am having a hard time fitting the right height shield to me.
Any help with this would be really appreciated. Looking for right fit and right shield.
Thanks in advance

LRS's website has a FAQ on screen sizing.

Q: Where do I measure my shield from?
A: You want to take a measurement from the top of your vent housing, straight up. The overall height of the shield, from bottom to top is the overall height of our Thresher shield, however taking the vent housing measurement will ensure an accurate height for you.
Q: I’m 6’2” and ride a Road Glide. What size shield should I get?
A: Most places will recommend a size based on your height, however we find this to be a bad idea since there are so many variables involved. Torso height, inseam, riding style, aftermarket seats, etc.
It is highly recommended to take a measurement. The top of our shield should be level with between the tip of your nose and mouth in your normal riding position.
Q: Any tricks on measuring by myself?
A: Actually, yes. You want the top of the shield to be about 2 inches below your line of site. If you are looking through the shield, mark the shield directly in your line of site when looking straight ahead. Then measure up to the tape, and subtract 2 inches. Works great, every time.

I have a freedom shield on mine. LRS wasn't making them yet for the new road glides when I was shopping. I'm actually thankful. I've had multiple LRS on older bikes.
The freedom shield is a flip at the top, and has no distortion at the curvatures in the glass. Also the edges are polished. I'd buy it again.

Hey there, I'm about an inch taller, and did a little write up on Road Glide shields a few months back. Very happy with the freedom shield. Here's the link to my review if you want to what I compared it to.

Another happy LRS customer here. Great product at a great price. I've bought 3 or 4 of them now in clear and tinted at different heights. BTW I think they are always "on sale". The sale price will vary. Last month I paid less than the price currently shown. Even so I think they are still a very good value priced the way they are today.
