===All the complaining about Rushmores ===
#41
Had 13,000 on my 15 Rush Low. 2 recalls (minor) & no other problems. Traded to a Trike when we got home from a 5100 mile ride a few weeks ago. Getting old. I was disappointed as I had no coolant leaks, no engine problems, no electric issues,no clutch or tranny issues. Was looking for something to go wrong ,so I could post. O well. Guess I have to join the ranks of lovers, not haters.

I went from a 2010 FLHTK "Top-of-the-line" Ultra Limited that had been moderately worked on, to a 2016 Road Glide Special. I loved that Limited in every way; but the RGS beats it, in every possible category, hands down. Better engine, better ergodynamics, better radio, a GPS that works WAY better than the one in my 2008 Cadillac, and it's even better looking (subjective, of course).
I got the Special in March. So far, 5,000 absolutely trouble-free miles.

I guess I'm tired of all the complaining, and negative comments about the new Rushmore Bikes. I have a 14 Limited that has 18,000 miles on it, and was 2 years old last month. Aside from a couple of recalls, my ride has been trouble free. Yes, a glitch now and then on the Boom Box,....
I guess I just want to hear some positive comments about your Rushmore that you have. Tired of only hearing about the negatives.
Thanks,
Dom

Replace the front spark plug wire because it was rubbing under the has tank and got a little chaffed.
And they replaced the saddlebag twist locks under recall.
That's it's, 14,000 miles and two years. Now I will stop saying it before I get screwed! *L*
Bike has been awesome and my wife who rides 2 up with me loves the comfort which is IMPORTANT and loves the bike, which is great!

My 15 Road glide is at 25K and I still cant wait to climb on. Yes, I have had some issues but I wouldn't trade this bike for anything, "well", maybe a CVO. This is a good reminder how far Harley has come. I learned to ride on a Knuck and "kicked" a Pan for years. I owned the AMF shovels (those bikes really sucked) and fell in love with Harley all over with my Wide Glide. If it was not for Harley I would not even ride. Rushmore is the best bike to date that Harley has ever built.

2015 ultra limited had it one year in june 11,000 miles and only been back to dealer for the one thousand mile service. just last week rode to savannah Ga. and back a little over a thousand miles mostly freeway at 75 to 90 mph. in 90 degree heat no problems and averaged 41 mpg. love this bike. this is my first Harley I had heard so many stories of the bad I was a little leary of buying one but when looked at the limited I had to try one and I have no regrets. had a noisy primary but with the ten thousand mile oil change i went with red line in all three holes now sounds so much better!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love my 2015 SGS. But, I do have some complaints; The stock seat sucks! I can only do 3 hours on it before I can't stand it. The stock stereo output sucks!!!! Not the Nav/radio. I actually love that. Although, I do wish it would stay on my iPod, and stop switching to the radio. Just not enough power, and, the speakers are as cheap as it gets. And last, but not least, the stock windshield is rediculous! It is absolutely horrible and useless. Aside from those complaints, it is worlds better than anything else they've ever put out. And, I wouldn't own anything else.
