Default Chopped Tour Pak Liners or Not?

I would like some help deciding, Do I or Not, lol.
Okay, I am waiting the arrival of my new HD Chopped Tour Pak painted to match, Amber Whiskey.
Don't know what the inside is like and I am thinking maybe I should get a factory liner for the bottom, keep things from scratching or being scratched. Makes sense right? Then I was looking at the organizers for the lid. Has anybody put an organizer on the lid and your thoughts please. Thoughts please

I haven't put/used a lid organizer. I've read too many articles/threads on the organizer not staying put. Velcro/glue is sensitive to heat. Some have replied that they use the organizer along with the Tour Pack rack. They use the rack mounting bolts to keep the organizer in place.

When I purchased a HD Chopped Tour Pack for my 2011 Street Glide, it came with a rubber mat for the bottom.
Not sure if the new ones still do or not, but I would think they would.

My chopped came with a rubber matt, but I ordered the liner at same time for a more finished look. It fits perfect, with no loss of storage space. No experience on the lid organizer

I ordered the liner for the bottom and used the rubber liner mat on top.

As mentioned above regarding the lid orginzer, some folks have had trouble with them hanging.

Instead, I choose the lid liner that comes on the CVO Ultras. Gives the lid a finished look and I have had zero problems with it.

I bought the chopped tourpak and came with mat, purchased the liner and I really like it although it is made in china. It was reasonably priced compared to the saddlebag liners.

As above. Chopped tourpak came with "rubber" sheet for the base. The liner is MUCH nicer and worth the price IMO. I considered the lid organizer but thought it may end up taking too much space inside when it is packed with stuff. I did buy the premium case which fits inside the pak, packs like a regular little suitcase and is great for grabbing to carry into Motel room when touring.

I use the liner. Keep the phone in there. Figure it softens up some of the bumps. Nice finished look too.

If you get the lid organizer, 2 things to keep in mind

1. If you don't have a rack on top to bolt through, get some extra 3M mounting tape

2. Be careful of what you put in the lid organizer. Had the organizer in my Ultra and
kept my sunglasses in there. Wife did some shopping and loaded up the tourpak.
forced the lid closed and broke my glasses......

I have the lid organizer on my LTD. never had a problem with it not staying in place. have rode in 110 degree plus weather four two hours straight without problems. Have had the bike sitting in 110 degree heat for hours no problem. Where I live the daytime temperature is not going to drop below 90 until October. This is my second summer with the liner in place.

Do you have the part number for that CVO top liner? I've been trying to get one for my full tourpak, I suspect it is the same sizeā€¦
Thanks!
