Default Cheap Brake Pedal Mod

I hated the stock brake pedal and being cheap I just modified my stock pedal. I ground out the weld where the arm attaches to the pivot point. I then rotated it down and rewelded. Then I cut off the brick sized foot pad and drilled a hole. I made a simple round peg on the lathe to match the factory inserts. Also made a matching shifter peg. I'm 6' and this made the most difference in comfort. Maybe not a show winner but cost me nothing but a few bucks for powder coat and some time. Last pic shows the difference between stock and modified.

DIY done well is always satisfying.

Now if I were to do that the results might be sub optimal...

Nicely done! Being a carpenter, I'd probably be able to cobble something together out of wood....but that whole welding, metalwork fabrication thing is over my pay grade. That does look great though!
