Throttle by wire binding?

Throttle by wire binding?
I just installed yaffe mbb on my SGS with avon grips.
While out for a ride tonight I noticed when rolling the throttle forward to kill the cruise it seemed to be binding on something. Not sure if it's in the grip or the throttle.
Anyone else experience this after installing bars? How can I fix this?

I've had it happen several times. Three actually during 6 different bar changes. Problem usually is probably created when pulling the wires thru new bars. I thought I was being careful. Each time I ended up replacing the TBW unit. Nothing else fixed it. Tried lubing the grip, loosening the screws, you name it, I tried it but somehow the TBW was damaged. I suspect you will also have to replace the TBW unit.

My 16 RGU was doing that for a while. It binds at about 10 degrees of turn and it was tight enough that the bike would continue at speed when I took my hand off the throttle. I took the throttle grip off and inspected it, then reassembled it. I noted that the hand brake clamp and throttle/switch box was allowing the throttle grip to move up and down about a 1/4" so I moved both those boxes up the bar a little bit to take up that slack. I've been riding it now for about a week and haven't found that binding point anymore.

Last week I installed krome works narrow sweepers, and had a difficult time inserting the TBW. It felt sticky in low rpms. Pulled the grips off, and noticed thd TBW was not fully seated in the notches, took a screwdriver and a hammer, and lightly tapped it in flush. works fine now. DO NOT hit the outer ring with gears, just the inner ring to snug up the unit.
