they had a demo day going on that day with alot of traffic and went for a quick spin down street and wanted to get the hell out of there did not hear the noise. got home the next day went for a short trip around the small town I live in only because i had no title. and had the old plate on bike and did not want to get a ticket. when i pulled in front of my garage I started to hear a strange noise coming out of primary. and now its very loud after 300 miles on bike.

got a phone call this morning from the selling dealer yankee harley davidson and they told me to take it to the dealer in plattsburgh, n.y. and have them repair the bike and they would cover the bill. Hats off to them for standing bye after the sale and making it right! Happy, Happy happy

Congrats on the new bike and glad you'll be getting the problem solved. Mine has had a noisy primary for awhile, I just live with it cause I have the extended warranty and I figure if it craps out I'll just get it fixed. Would really like to know what the fix is that the dealer is gonna do, maybe you could keep us up to date on the repair and let us know exactly what they do to fix it, that would be appreciated. I've heard of the shim fix and wonder if that's what they'll do to yours...thanks!
