Does anybody use the Gerbing Heated Gear while riding two up? if so has there been any issues with overloading the electrical system? I also have a Corbin heated seat.

 

I used to do it on my fatboy without any issues. I haven't done it on the limited yet, but I don't see why it would be a problem. Not sure how much the heated seat changes that.

 

We regularly run 2 jackets and a pair of pants with no issues. Have also had heated gloves on (4 total items), but now that I have heated grips those aren't needed.

 

2 jackets one set gloves and a amplifier for the radio, no problem.

 

I believe that Gerbing's website can provide you with the amount of amperage each of their items draws, then can check to determine whether the line you are using is fused for that load.

 

On my '05 Wide Glide, we've ran 2 jackets, 2 pants, & 2 pairs gloves without an issue.
I wouldn't hesitate to do the same on my '14 Limited, but I'd also plug in the Battery Tender once I got home.

 

going from memory the jacket liner is up to 7 amps and the gloves 3. remember they cycle on and off so its not a steady draw.
