Just bit the bullet and ordered the Kruzer Kaddy for myself. Tank clearance should be ok with my 10" bars.

Www.hogtrough.com. Love it, a little pricey, but well worth it!

Kruze caddy on both bikes ( use some one else's idea from the Forum )to bend the top of mounting plate toward the seat and eliminate the free swing with some star washers and tighten in up to prevent from tipping. Hydro Flask 18 oz fits perfectly and it keep cold drink ice cold all day in the 100 degrees day and probably same goes for the hot drink in the winter but I just bought it this summer.

No issue for the clearance even with the stock bars.

I mounted mine on the right side. Was wondering why everyone was saying left? Also I have the kruzer kaddy. It came with a plastic spacer. And mine stays put.

I believe most mount them on the non-throttle side.

Picture please -

I added a very thin washer as recommended and it's work so far but would like to see this -

Yes - otherwise, unless cruise control is on you have to reach across to grab your drink -

I've been using the Kuryakyn clutch mount with the mesh basket for around 50000 miles now with no issues at all. Had a cruiser caddy before that but go tired of always having to tighten it up. It finally broke off. Tried the Kuryakyn and been happy with it.
