LRS Stingray for 2016 RGU

non-smoker as well but you probably could. The 16" puts the air at the top of my helmet. I'm 6'2", long torso, and have a more upright riding position.
I'm also using the stock seat with no plans on changing.
Plan on putting 12" Malo bars on in the near future and that will keep me upright.
Duckcomando, would like to know how the LRS Stingray shield works with the bars you have coming.

I can now give an update. Contrary to what I thought I actually ordered the 15", not the 14". For me, 5'10, this is borderline high as I need to really sit upright to not have the top of the windshield in my line of sight. But when sitting upright it's ok in that regard.
I only tested the Stingray so far. For me as a rider it makes no difference in normal riding conditions. Only when I had my visor up and sat straight I could feel the wind on the top of my helmet with the stock windshield. That is now completely gone with the Stingray - it better be as the shield is longer and has a recurve.
For my passenger it's also better but still not calm. But I'm beginning to think that this is not only related to the windshield but actually to the way the wind collects towards the saddlebag area, i.e. behind the rider.
I have yet to test the Thresher, especially with my passenger. I should be able to report back towards the end of July.

I have a 2016 RGS and bought the 12" stingray and found it perfect. The stock shield would want to pull helmet off and dry out my eyes and couldnt hear the stereo over 40mph.Now I can hear the stereo at 70mph and 80% of wind is gone. Its never going to be a wind free ride.I also got the medium tint.Sitting on the bike the top of the shield should be level with your nose.

That looks to be a 10" LRS Stingray. I have both the 10 and 11" version, and the 11 has a little more recurve with the extra inch. The 10" doesn't have much. (Like this picture.) I slouch when I ride and have the lower CVO style seat, so the 10" is the correct height for me to be always looking over it. (5'9)
