Just need to vent
I am 51 years old and have been on 2 wheels since 5, I have over 800,000 miles on 2 wheels and have owned several, I currently have a 14 limited but unfortunately we have had some hard life struggles recently and the repo man is calling.
I will miss this bike more than any other I've owned but such as life I guess, well thanks for letting me vent.

Don't just lay down and give up the fight brother! You are only 51 years old with plenty of life left. Keep that bike and fight. Hell, these days you don't have to even leave the house to make some extra scratch.
You only have one life so make it yours. If you want a bike than have a damn bike!

... you'll pay for it one way or another anyway (making the pymt or having your credit screwed up for at least 7 yrs .... no need to ask how i know)
... if nothing else just to buy time to sell it yourself & pay the loan off/down

Sorry to hear it! I almost lost my 14 SGS to the repo man last year too after being laid off from Boeing. I still dont make what I need to be comfortable but I now have a business and work a full time job so roughly 12-16 hr days to keep the things I have and build a reliable future. I just turned 30 so I dont relate in age, but this is my first down turn financially as I've been with Boeing since I was 23. Vent any time you need!

Wojo1965 - I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty. Still, you may have some options available to you.
If you like, please send me an e-mail and I can provide some additional tips. Such would include developing a budget process. The most important thing here is separating needs from wants.
If there was a loss of income, or other financial stress, maybe you would consider selling the bike now and paying if off. Hopefully you have some equity in th bike or can at least get the payoff value. This at least removes the financial obligationnd saves your credit history. Makes it easier to get another bike when the time is right
