Interesting approach. Do the ***** cause any problems getting liners or large items out of the saddlebags?
I swapped mine out with a couple of stainless socket cap bolts and U-nuts I had laying around the shop. I tossed an extra allen wrench in the bottom of each saddlebags, too. Easier than digging one out of the tool roll if I'm away from my shop.

With the stock fender washer and a lock washer.

I got a set of Monkey ***** on my RGS15 and yeah they do kinda get in the way. I have a half shell helmet that I used to just be able to throw in my saddle bag. Now with the ***** I have to carefully slide the helmet down and back under the **** in order for it to fit. Not a big deal but it does take a little more time. So I imagine you might encounter some issues putting other larger items in there
