Auxiliary Power Switch Kit 71400106
Has anyone installed this kit? I just received the kit today after purchasing from Boardtracker on line. I feel that the kit is not complete and missing one of the connections, at least according to the diagram in the instructions and the photo on the box. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct harness, and either it was upgraded or there is a connector missing. I have not opened up my power switch cover yet, wanted to get familiar with the kit and instructions and get my bearings and tools together first.
Any info or insight on this is appreciated.
Thanks,

If your referring to the diagram as having extra connections then I think you are seeing the weather plug for the four way deutch connector. That's a complete harness you got yourself. I got the kit that also comes with the switch pack for my streetglide.
Unrelated but I think what's a shame is that the 8 pin plug you connect it to on the bike has the pins for the right side as well but there are no wires on this harness for it.
I went ahead and ran some extra open ended wires along side mine and pinned them for extra accessories and got myself a CVO switch pack to power my air ride.

As far as the right side, I totally agree.
Thanks for the help guys! Now it is time to start the install!

CPT Carrera, I am in the process of doing an air ride and will control it using the cvo lock/unlock switches. I just picked up the switches at the local dealership and started looking into wiring the plug in the left cover. Can you give me a little insight on what you did? I am thinking of buying a bare molex 8 pin connector and building my own harness but is their an easier way that doesn't cost a fortune?
