Default Thinking about putting my stock bars back on.

I actually like the stock bars on the road glides, but I was missing my apes. Installed a set of the road glide fat apes, and have ran the about 1500 miles, and I just can't seem to find a comfortable position. Played with them in many positions with the pin in, and no matter where I set them my right shoulder hurts.

Pulled the pin last night and raised them to the highest point, and on my 150 mile ride to my destination, my shoulder didn't hurt, but my hands fell asleep.

I adjusted them down a bit for the ride home, it was better, but not sure as comfortable as the stockers.

Decisions, decisions.

Haven't ridden the new RG, but have sat on them at the dealership. The stock bar position is hard to beat! I would say go for the comfort and forget about it!

I am sure some may have issues with them but the stock bars on my 2016 RGU are great no reason to change them.

I put a set of Twin Peaks on my street glide. It looks good but I just could not get comfortable. I went back to the stock bars. Now I have a set of 8 inch Twin peak bars I don't know what to do with..... LoL

I rolled my stock bars a little forward to compensate for my long reach and love them. Kinda look like mini apes.

Just finished swapping back to the stock bars. Now I have a check engine light on. Not gonna worry about it now as I want one to watch the Stanley cup finals. Maybe I'll pull the code at intermission

GO PENS!

I pulled the pin and did the same with mine. BUT>>> on a longer ride makes my hands go numb. It like I get too much of the end of the grip in my hand, like they are just bent a little to far in at the grips if that makes any sense?

If you ride a lot, go for comfort over cool every time. If it's just going to be a bar hopper maybe go for cool, maybe.

So pulled the codes, looks like it's my TBW. I have a 3 codes P1510 - EFI Limited Performance mode, P2122 - TGS1 low/open and P 2138 - TGS Correlation Error (Twist grip sensor)

So I will pull the wires and see if the green plug is connected securely..
