Is this a good deal?
Wrecked my Street Glide Monday. Looks like it'll be totaled and I'm looking for a new bike. I've been thinking about jumping to a Road Glide. I found a 2015 Road Glide Special with 6800 miles on it for 21K. It's already got bars (at the exact height I like), a danny gray seat, true dual pipes, and CFR slip ons.
I went and rode it today. I can't find a scratch on it. It rode great. Pipes could be a little louder, but better than stock. Dealer said there's some wiggle room in the price too.
Asking for thoughts as to whether this is as great deal as it feels like it is?

When folks ask about things like this - I try to take the position - are you happy with the purchase. This takes away the - if I would have, could have, should have problem.
While expanding your search, this bike "might" be sold and this may bother you. Just remember this - a new 2015 was 20899/23199. Forget about the price of the bars and seat (dealers rarely consider accessories in prices). What would you pay the Harley dealer for a new 2015 right now?
So, if you like it, can afford it and want it - just make an offer that you want to and try for the bike. If the dealer is saying there is some wiggle room - he's telling you you can go less than the $21K. How you wiggle is a whole different ball game.
When wiggling, remember, you are at an Indian dealership. They may be willing to drop more on this bike because its a Harley. Wiggle your way over to a different bike so as to not appear to anxious on this one. As you are looking, simply chat that you may consider going to the local Harley dealership just to see what they have in stock.
I am confident that the longer if takes you to make a deal on this bike, the more you can wiggle. Bike looses value when sold about 15% -so, my call would be around $19K. Here is a similar bike with bars and pipes at $17, 750

Good luck and enjoy. Beautiful bike. Remember this includes the headset.
