I've seen bikes with less sell 4 more than that asking price. Is it the best possible deal on planet earth ....??? No but it's not like your getting raked over the coals either. Your getting a bike that already has some of the stuff you'd put on it anyways so all it needs is gas and your *** in the seat! The fact that "wiggle room" was mentioned already is a good sign 4U my friend that they are looking to move it ASAP.

Of course my opinion could be biased seeing how I've already joined in the recent Feeding Frenzy that continues to devour the opposition......

It is a FAIR deal. Everyone is looking to beat the **** out of sellers. If the bike has what you want, and will save you money over buying another one and adding stuff, get it. Of course if the seller says OBO, then you know they don't really expect $21k. But at $21k, that is a very fair deal.

So the list was $21,799... I offered $19,500... they came back at $20,499.

I'm gonna try to hold out for $19,500.

The collision guy at the local HD dealership told me today they've got my bike as totaled, so it's this bike or some other. I'm ready to get back on the road.

The first thing I would do is go price a brand new 2016. Dealers were told to get em gon for some reason before 2017 show up. There was a dealer in Louisiana selling specials for $18,995. At this time I don't think the bike you are looking at is a deal at all.

Seems like you could get a brand new bike with full warranty for that price. Not sure where you live but Brandon (near Tampa, FL) Harley knocked almost $3K off a new late season 2014 Road King I bought in September 2014. I flew down from Virginia, they picked me up at the airport, and I was back on the road in a couple hours. Did all negotiating over email and phone so everything was done when I arrived. Still amazed at the deal I got and other customers of this dealership have similar experiences.

Warranty... I'm gonna void that in the first month.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger. Dealer got me to the price point I wanted to be at. I did contact the local HD dealer to see what they'd get me on a 16 for and it wasn't 19k, so I went with the bike I originally liked.

Thanks for all the advice and opinions. I appreciated them all.

Thanks man. I'm happy with the deal. That's what ultimately matters.
