Default Changing operation of Auxiliary lights

Bike , 2015 street glide special.. Bought bike used with auxiliary lights installed.. Bike is international model, (Australia).. Over here , the auxiliary lights activate on High Beam, (in the US, they activate on Low Beam),,

The older touring models , you could buy a harness , or cut and splice a feed from the accessory switch to the auxiliary light switch ,so as auxiliary lights would operate on either High or Low beam...

With the new Rushmore models I have read , (because of electrical/electronic changes), the dealer with their Digital technician tool can change operation on auxiliary lights, so auxiliary lights can operate on either High or Low beam.. Is this correct ??? Cheers ....

That is correct. I had the dealer program mine to work on both high and low beam.

I would like for mine to come on with high only but I have read that it is not possible. What makes the Aussi bike come on with high only?

You guys have generous dealers. Mine charged 30 minutes labor for 5 minutes worth of work. LOL

Different wiring configuration, (between usa and international), on the older bikes.. Different computer settings on the newer Rushmore bikes, (which I have just found out)...

The differences in operation of auxiliary lights when they operate, is because of different road rules in each country ....

The best option is to, (in my opinion), have auxiliary lights operate on both High or Low bean , controlled my the switch on the dash....

Reason I would like them to come on only with high beam is because I flipped my aux driving lights upside down and they point a little high. I'd like to keep high beam on with aux lights during the day but low beams on without aux lights at night when people are driving at me so I don't blind them. Switch in the grips much faster and safer then the switch on dash.
