I have always run Formula+ in the Trans and Primary, the noise was more like an engine "stumble" and recovery, for lack of better words.

 

Ok. Do you have EITMS enabled? If so, try disabling it. I had to disable it on mine because it once caused an engine stall. Besides, it doesn't help the bike any. It is just for 'rider comfort'. With mine being a wet head, it really isn't an issue to me but it may be helpful for yours seeing yours is just air cooled. If it is 'that' hot and if the light is long, I will just shut it down via the toggle switch and fire it back up when time to go.

 

Yes, in my post before my last I mentioned I turned it off, it made a big difference.
