I wonder if they used the 254-e cams?

^^^^^On duration, cam lift for HO 103 is now .511, and compression for air cooled 9.7:1, and 10:1 for twin cooled.

No, the HO-103 has a stand alone Cam standard now for stock 103's.

I read that putting 255 cams in a 103ho would be a down grade.

From what I've read.....all they need is a good tune to get things moving.

Get rid of the cat, slipons, and a tuner and your stage one. No need to touch the air filter unless you don't like the way it looks. HO air filter can flow more then a 103 can suck.
