Is Anyone Using Spotify With Boom Box 6.5 On Something Other Than A Phone?
I have been thinking about buying an ipod to use for Spotify since my only phone is my work iphone and memory is limited. I started to research which ipod to buy and have discovered that Spotify will no longer work with the newer generations of ipods. Is anyone else out there using Spotify on something other than a phone and if so with what media player are you using and does it work with Boom Box 6.5?

I use Apple Music. Spotify costs just as much and it is basically the same thing as apple music. I use it on my bike and seems to work fine. I just HATE how I have to select my phone every time the bike starts up. There should be a setting to automatically go to bluetooth device.
Apple music is already on your phone and doesnt put songs onto your phones hard drive. Its transmitter over the "cloud". This is also true for songs that you buy off of Itunes. They are transmitted over data from your itunes account.

With Spotify Premium your songs are downloaded to the app on your phone. I do need to go online with my phone once every 30 days to have access to my music. Right now I'm in remote NW Zambia and do not have wifi at my work site but can listen to my music during the day. When I'm riding my Street Glide I can access my playlists on my phone without having a phone signal or wifi.
