I have a 2016 Ultra Limited with a little over 5000 mi on the clock. It doesn't happen often (bike sitting for a couple of days) but when I leave the bike sit for a couple of days the clutch will not disengage until the handle is touching the grip. This past Sunday after sitting most of the week I started the bike, pulled the clutch in, put it in gear and the bike almost jumped out from under me! Once I've ridden it for awhile it's normal. I mentioned it at my 5000 mi service but the service guy said they didn't find anything. Anybody else experience this?
Amazing! The MOCO hasn't got this fixed yet?
Three model years and counting - unless something else would give the identical symptoms. I've never been able to think of any candidates, though.
For the record, I ignored the recall and just flushed about a quart of Valvoline DOT 3/4 through mine and the issue disappeared.

My old cable clutched bikes would do that, after sitting several days the oil runs out from between the clutch disc's, therefore they are basically dry, let the bike warm up for a couple of minutes and work the clutch a couple of times to get the oil back between the clutch disc's. I never take off without warming it up a little first to get the fluids circulating, that's hard on the engine/trans/primary/clutches.

Thanks for all the good information. I've got an appointment to have the dealer look at it a week from Friday as I will be out of town most of this week and next so we'll see what they find. I'll try some of the suggested ways to check it over the next week or so and see if they lead me to any cause. I will let everyone know the final outcome.
