BUT WHEN I DO, THE DEALER CANT EVEN FIGURE IT OUT

I think the Naviextras software is used worldwide by Harley - they have US maps and then they have ROW (rest of the World) maps which includes my area. I think there is no escaping updating using Naviextras - but if your dealership says they can update for you - I say go for it!

I updated without an issue I bought a new 16gig USB drive put it in my bike and loaded the fingerprint from the bike went and plugged it into my windows computer launched the toolbox and it said there was an updated map it downloaded to my thumb drive and i then plugged it into my bike once the navigation system was completely loaded and it updated the maps with out issue took about 40 minutes to load the new maps.
