2015 RG with FP3 question
I have a 2015 RG and i installed VH pro dual header pipe, monster rounds and VH air cleaner assembly.
I installed the FP3 and programmed with their map from all my components.
Do i still need to run the auto tune? I've heard both ways...
Thanks,

It does not hurt to run auto tune, then you can decide which one runs better for your bike and go with that.
Some people claim the stock map works better, other say the auto tune greatly improved performance.

I thought you downloaded their map, (close to your setup) then run auto-tune to fine tune it..

It will run better after autotune and when You fatten up the AFR.I run at 14.0 and it runs much smoother with better mileage than canned map.

I'm with the auto-tune group. If it's not better, go back to the canned tune.

Im running the maps V&H suggested and it seems to run great but I lost a lot of mileage, Went from 2500 miles per tank to 200. Im going to duplicate the map as suggested and run the auto tune and see if it runs as smooth and bring some mileage back.

can you put the canned map in and build an auto tune on top of that? When I get mine that's the plan I had in mind.

Yes that's how the auto tune feature works. You select the map you want to run then once you've done that you have the ability to use the auto tune feature on the map selected and dial it in
