Default Non detachable sissy bar help please

I am looking for some input on a non detachable sissy bar for my 14 limited. I have changed the rear fender (off a road glide) and really like the clean look. I would like a sissy bar for the wife for short trips and am wanting to stay away from the quick detach hardware. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of that you might like, involves another large purchase. Corbin makes seats that have a built in hole for a backrest for both the rider and passenger that will keep the hardware from being needed.
That is what you don't like, correct?

Yes. I just like the clean look without the hardware. The tour pack bolts on in just a couple minutes, but it's big and cumbersome for short rides. I'm looking for one that uses the same slot and bolts as the tour pack.

I was not aware that they make a backrest that bolts on like that. I'm interested to see what you find.
Good luck!

I don't mean to sound like a smarta$$ here, but instead of temporarily bolting on a permanent sissy bar,why not temporarily bolt on the quick detatch brackets?

Top Hand Ventures makes some nice ones out of Texas. Can buy them on ebay or direct.

I have thought about that, but like the idea of a 1 piece bolt on.

I install the quick mount brackets and a rack a couple times a year when I want to carry a duffle bag.But I understand where you are coming from.

I went with the top hand ventures setup. It's pretty much just what I've been looking for.
