Cams

I agree completely. No matter what you do get it dyno tuned by someone that knows what they are doing.
I personally don't think a cam only swap in a HO Rushmore 103 will get you much. Sure you can move the curve to the right but at the expense of the bottom end. The only way I would do it is with head work. A boost in compression will keep the low end and a mild port with larger valves will keep it pulling longer. Both will boost the tq/hp numbers significantly over just a cam.

The non-Rushmore 103's can benefit significantly from a cam change. Personally, there are way better aftermarket cams out there to use over HD SE cams. An Andrews 48 would definitely wake up a non-RM 103.
I'm planning the build for my SGS. The bike doesn't need additional power but a torque monster sure is fun to ride. I'm leaning towards building a 113 or 120 down the road using Pro Twin Performance parts.

I guess first things first are you looking for more low to mid range tq or mid to high? I went with the kuryakyn tc24d great cam for mid range! With a decent exhaust and tune its not unlikely to get 105hp and 115tq. Thats much better than the stock HO cam for whomever said all it will do is shift the power around. I got roughly an increase of 20hp and 20tq from stage one from cams and a good tune.

I'm using the FP3 tuner and the bike was tuned by a local indy. He was not real familiar with the fp3 for the dyno tune, and if i would have planed better and talked to to the guy first i would have got the PV that he is more confident with. The 57H is the only cam in personally have experience with and it made a very noticeable power increase and a enjoyable bike to ride.

Crimson you can look at my build now and I've got the TW777's which I love set up at 10.6 comp. My bike is really a fun ride now for sure, check it out in the dyno section.

That makes no f'ing sense. Google what? He said his bike what "in the dyno section". Dyno section where? Here, DynoJet, Fuel Moto? If he wants someone to look at his bike in the Dyno section, you think he would provide people a link instead of a wild goose chase.

Go on fuel moto website and they have a section of dyno sheets for tons of combinations of bikes and cams.
