So as most of you know it turned out to be the TwistGrip Sensor. They installed a new one without the Green plug and all seems good. Now to put some miles on and get used to them again. I already feel as if I need to pull them back a bit. But going to get some miles on before I do that.

Put some miles on and the confidence and smiles will return.
Good Luck
Glad to hear that it's fixed. I put 170 miles on mine last weekend and the better riding position made me forget about the issues l encountered while installing them.
My first question would be was this a dealer or indy bubba shop that did the work.
So many times we read any one can do it I am not paying --- for the work. Then we see this.

I'm not trying to start anything but l don't really see how this would matter. Pulling the wires thru a set of Yaffe monkey bars is a pain regardless of ones skill level. The green plug on the newer bikes definately ups your chances of something going wrong.

There is a big difference in a dude with a six pack doing the work and someone that gets paid well to do it. And does a lot of them. I have watched the work local HD tech does with outrageous bar changes and he gets it right every time. I have also seen many of the go the cheaper routes fail big time. There is a difference.
