Default Close one today.

Traveling south bound on 87, feet on HW pegs, cruise set on 68ish, enjoying the weather. No cars in front or behind me. Double laned highway, divided by a median. Out of nowhere, a crew cab 7.3 from the other side of the highway decided my path of real estate was his for the taking and pulled out from his driveway like a bat outta hell. Took up both lanes, leaving me nowhere to go. Y'all, I grabbed so much brake it shoulda flipped. Slammed the gears down trying to slow it. Here is where I attest to the linked brake system and ABS on the bikes. The braking system did its job. It stopped me in time, but without locking it up, *** end swinging, nor high siding me. The bike stay straight and true, front and rear chirped a little but that was it. I tried to test the braking system when I was test riding, but didn't have the ***** to hit it like that. I am definitely more confident in the bike.

How much seat did your **** suck up? Good on the linked braking system. Wish my 12 had it, but my next one will.

Great job keeping your cool. It's reassuring to know there's a great breaking system there to get us stopped.

Glad you made it out of that to tell about it. Good to hear about the ABS doing its job. I've decided I will only ride with ABS after similar close calls. No guarantee but I'm not willing to take that chance otherwise...

Happy to hear that you made it unscathed. It's good to know that the brakes did their job. Ride safe.

You really should practice before you need to. I know it's hard to force yourself to brake hard for no reason.
I do it when I hit a yellow light. After checking my six in the mirrors.

Glad your brakes did the job.
