Man that 2016 RGU looks good. I road one a couple months ago and liked everything about it except that it felt top heavy. That's only because I've been riding my torque monster 06 RG with a car tire.
Sticker price is about $24K but I'm sure some negotiating can be done. I don't want to trade in my 06RG. I just enjoy that one too much to give up.
What is the typical out the door pricing for the RGU, and that is with or without financing?

 

I just got mine and the dealer gave me $3500 over book on my trade. He's a friend of the family, but I'd say they have plenty of room to move.

 

As I said, I don't want to trade in my current bike. I still have no idea what the "out the door" price is.

Assuming your dealer would not charge freight or set up, take that number and subtract $3500... And then add tax and 200 for plates?

 

I was offered the MSRP price on any color out the door at Thunder Tower here in SC.
That includes all the setup, doc fees, BS crap, freight, tax/title, filing fee, etc just out the door at the MSRP price.
Taxes are capped at 350 or something in SC. So... 25699 for a vivid black one.

Ok I guess. Really didn't work them over, just in passing. Never talked financing. No trade though.

 

Ok, when you said 3500 over book, I thought you referring to your trade-in value as being 3500 over the blue book value. That tells me nothing about what you paid for the bike.
So you're saying, your price was 3500 under the sticker price?

 

Big believer that sticker out the door is a good deal. I was quoted $26,300 OTD here in NW Ohio on a 2016 Superior Blue RGU. Vivid black would be less.

 

So my trade in value is less than $9k, he gave me 12.5k and then I paid MSRP for the bike. So I'm figuring it's probably about 3.5k off of MSRP because I think most dealers usually give book or less on trade.
