Default Leather or Lace?

Ok, so definitely not lace, but what about leather? I'm really close to buying a few cheap accessories to dress up the bike a little, but I need some impartial opinions. I love old-school looks without going over the top, so here is what I was think: Leather lever grips (NO fringes), leather tank bra, and the chrome passenger floorboard covers with the conch and leather tabs.

Yay or nay?!?

The tank bra will scuff the tank over time. Don't ask me how I know

Yeah, I figured it would. If I go that route I would cover the tank and console with 3M clear tape under the bra. I'm sure any scuffs on the pain could be polished out, but the chrome needs to be protected for sure. I'd do both anyways.

There, no side by side, but one with both, just for you!

The tank bra will destroy the paint over time. No way I'd ever consider one, but that's just me.

Yeah, I've never got people putting leather on their paint, unless they were covering previously damaged paint. I'm not sure the leather bits or conchos belong on a modern bagger, but its your bike...

Captain Itch makes some cool engine shields out of leather. Replace the plain plastic ones.

Thanks for the honesty guys. I think I might take your advice and skip the tank bra
