Looks like what would be the old BATmoBIKE.

Just a thought: What you might want to do is to go down to an AutoZone or and O'Reilly's and get some pin striping tape. Not so much that you'll leave it on permanently, but you could kind of get a feel for how various thoughts you come up with will look in real life. Peel it off and restart with different colors and patterns until you get something you really like and will want to live with. Then take a couple of pictures, remove the last of the tape and then bring it to a painter who can do it up right for you!

Here is my 2015 SGS. Not a real fan of the silver pinstripes on the special. Someone else on these forums covered the silver with 1/8" black pinstriping, and that's where I started.

The orange graphics are a kit made for an early Road Glide. Jury is still out.

Looks pretty good to me. When I used to paint bikes, the bat-wing fairing was always the most difficult part on which to create a design that "flowed" with the rest it. I'd get a great design taped out that looked good from the front, but from the side it looked bad. Peel off the tape and start over. Looked good from the side, but not from the front. Peel and start over again. Rinse and repeat as needed. After a while I ended up just putting the typical HD style of designs on most fairings.

The jury has reached a verdict. Less is more.
