Default brake pads

*my laptop is fubar, I don't have a desktop, and I dont know my smartphone is not sart enough to allow me to use any forum search feature, thus my question here...with apologies*

I will be replacing the brake pads in all three calipers of my '15 RGS with 22,000+miles on the odo that was rolled in one year

I'd like to hear your brake pad suggestions and the feedback/opinions of your prefered choice. I'm not shy about using my brakes lol. Do I stay with oem or go with ????

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the fronts and the rears? I have pulled them both and they look identical. These are oem as well.

shop around. You can find MUCH better pricing. I purchased pads from online and they are the EXACT same thing the dealership gets you for WAYYYYYY more....

I actually took a chance on some on amazon. When I got them, they were exactly what my buddy got from HD....I paid 1/3 of what he did....

I have not had a single problem and have 8800 on the bike so far and they look to last another summer...

I've always installed EBC HH pads on my bikes at replacement time. They run $25.23 a caliper on Amazon.com for a Rushmore FLHTK.

The OEM kits have a template to place on the back of the pad so you can spread the anti-squeak goop on it where the piston will make contact to avoid the dreaded squeak. The aftermarket don't have it....just pads. I don't need a template and I can figure out where the piston will contact on the back of the pads. What are you guys using for anti-squeak goop?

And what are the opinions of the DP BRAKES #DP962s? Would these no dust-no-noise-no-fade pads have a negative effect on the rotors vs the OEM Brembo pads?

I have not used anti squeak goop.My brakes never squeak. My 2012 was hopelessly squealing.Tried 3 different brands of pads. All squealed including
Lyndall.I am convinced that the rotors caused the squealing.
