Not so sure about this statement. I know J&M is a dirty word or on this site but I'm loving mine. The way it is set up is as a standard Ultra/or RoadGlide. No amp in the software. So I'm hoping that my AVC will be corrected with this. At the moment it is very slow to react and not a lot of change. Have the bike apart installing inner fairing so as soon as it's together I'll try this out.

I downloaded and installed the latest software and went out for a ride this afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the AVC was working, for the first time in the two years I have owned the bike. Not only that but the volume on all music from the flash drive seemed louder and much crisper.
I am impressed that HD might indeed be listening to their customers.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I loaded the update and everything seems spot on now but I haven't ridden the bike since I loaded it. I'll hook up my helmet and try it though since I'm curious too.

It worked before but it would loose it's memory once the ignition was cycled.
Just did the update, everything seemed to go just fine. The first thing I did was try the hard favorite key. It used to be it wouldn't retain its memory after an ignition cycle. Now it just won't set at all. Crap.

I hope not. I know when I'm speaking, so I don't need to hear myself.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Why do I need an 8gb usb drive when the file is only 1gb?
