If you're using the correct download, make sure you can see the swdl_boombox_6.5GT.iso or corresponding 4.3 file. If you can't see this in your USB thumb drive, it won't work.

If you're using the correct download, and you can see that file in your USB thumb drive, then it should work.
The software update I have downloaded is for USA bikes, and I am in Australia. The Aussie HD site is only offering the v1.19.1 version. That may be the problem?

Yup, that's exactly the problem.

You need to use the "International" update in order for it to work.
Here's the link from the GB website - you'll see a "rest of the world version" which should work:

I had the same problem here in the UK a year or so ago!

Ahhhh. I knew my AVC quit at the same time I upgraded to the Stage 1 amp. I figured it was the 'factory' download. But I didn't understand the download was meant to do this. Thanks for clarifying. BTW, who explained this to you? My dealer was clueless, and this is the first note about it I've seen on this site...

Thanks,

Just popping back in to say that the radio is working great. AVC and last media included. So much nicer.

It still takes awhile for it to boot up but beyond that, no issues.

Under "Radio Fixes" it says Road Glide Picon cut off. Anyone know what this means?
