I spoke with Biketronics on Thursday when ordering a kit for my Roadglide. They said any update except 1.19.2 is ok to use.

 

Anyone have the link to previous updates? Someone either sent it to me or posted it but I can no longer find it.

I just went back to 1.18.3 this afternoon. Took me awhile to figure out how but I got it. Had to figure out what a thumb drive was first! I think 1.18.3 was in the bike when I bought it April 2015.

My experience with the latest update was terrible. No repeat feature. It would loose the route on restart at times, then I couldn't even find it in the "recents". I had to reenter the complete address. Most of the time it wouldn't show the name of the next turn. Top and bottom of the screen would show the street I was on but it gave me the distance when I needed to turn. WTH is Harley thinking!

 

I would do a factory reset and reinstall the newest update. Just my 2. Grant.

 

1.19.2, is near perfect for me.

 

Never had problems with any of the updates, the .2 has given me problems, slow, no repeat, freezes up, songs playing twice. I think I'll do a system reset and reinstall the .2, if no better I'll go back to .1 or further. Keep hoping the newest updates will fix everything without breaking anything but it doesn't seem to be working like that.

 

Had no problems with any of the updates, all the way up to 1.19.0 then started having issues. Have now gone back to 1.19.0 and seems to be working fine again.

Using 1.19.2 = low volume, couple of times during guidance, route disappeared, had to leave nav then come back to get a 1/2 sec. glimpse of the route (that got old real fast), music came on pretty fast, but long time for acceptance screen and froze a couple of times.
