Just to be clear.... I meant pushing the joystick button left or right, not in.

Well I thought my problem was just the XM cutting out and going to pops and hisses....well today I was using Bluetooth and playing music from my phone and it did the same thing.

Really? Why are you reformatting your USB drives from FAT to NTFS? They're FAT formatted when you buy them.

To get beyond the FAT32 32GB volume limitation I would guess.

Never had problems with any of the past updates, this one is a different story. Had my screen lock up twice (bike sat overnight and was OK next day), lost verbal directions trying to follow a route, had the songs on the USB playing twice and then advancing, SMH. Am going on a trip next week, I'll see how the system is, any problems I'm bringing the 9.1 update on a Flash Drive and I'll just reinstall that one. Only thing the new update did fix (for me anyway) was on shutoff the 6.5 would return to where it had left off...1 step forward and 3 steps backward.

I wonder if the software geniuses that make all these updates actually ride. Probably test them out in a video game in their parents basement.

Yep there are easy ways around it. It's a Microsoft thing to promote NTFS. FAT32 itself is much more capable size wise.
