Kinda scary. Some of these updates have been known to go backwards too. Another thing to make sure you do is to let it shut down completely before trying to restart it again. I believe it takes something like 30 seconds for the infotainment to shut completely down after turning off the ignition. If it's really quiet where you are, you can actually here it shut down after that period.

I'm beginning to think that the best way to evaluate the success of each update is to utilize the old "Two steps forward, one step back" cliche.

In other words, if a new update fixes five things, and only breaks four things that used to work, it's a success!

Any word on the fader control memory on this go around. It resets to neutral everytime you turn off the ignition? It went away 2 updates ago.

Glad they also addressed the time zone issue - that has been a pain, I live close to a time zone line between here and Chicago.

I cant seem to get my 14 SG to upload the new software. Any ideas?
I turn on the ignition to accessories and hold the odometer button down for 2 seconds and nothing. Any ideas?
