Using a macbook pro
6gig memory stick formatted to MS-DOS (FAT32)
I have downloaded the correct file (swdl_boombox_6.5GT.1.19.2) since I have a Road Glide Special with the 6.5 set up

Every time I try the update... "The ISO image on the attached USB is corrupt or incompatible".

Either I am missing something of this USB stick is trashed.

Open to helpful ideas on the matter.
Use a 8 gig or larger thumb drive

Thanks neighbor!
We should go riding sometime with the (almost) twin bikes.

Did you unzip the downloaded file before copying it to your memory stick?

The file you download is a .zip file.

1. Download the file
2. Once downloaded, double click on that file and it will create a new folder.
3. Inside that new folder will be two files (The actual file you need and a text file).
4. Copy the .iso file to your memory stick and go from there.

Yes, as stated in my initial message I am copying over the correct .iso file for my audio model.
This particular flash drive has worked for me in the past, so size shouldn't be the issue. Just assuming my drive is shot and I need to pick up a new one.

Absolutely! I couldn't take advantage of the great weather we had here over the weekend but the season is not far away for sure.

I'm in Australia and I downloaded and successfully installed the update last night.

Right click on the download link and select copy link. Paste the link into your browser and change the filename from 1.19.1.2 to 1.19.2

You did delete all previous versions of the *.iso file from the USB stick BEFORE copying the unzipped *.iso file to the USB stick? The new (unzipped) iso file needs to be in the ROOT folder on a FAT32 formatted USB stick, but it must also be the ONLY iso file on the USB stick. Other than that, probably time for a new USB stick.

I suspect they specify an 8gb stick since the update process needs scratch space to work.
