Seems like this happens every time. Some guys boot up takes longer, some guys it's quicker. Over on the audio forum, one guy says the sound is better, another guy says he lost all the bass & had to go back to the previous version.

Just makes no sense.

Mine used to shut off on pressing the start button, doesn't do it now. Does seem to take a little longer to get to safety screen. Sweet.

What else to do on a cold Super Bowl Sunday?

Update went smoothly but I've done QUITE a few of these in the 2.5 years I've owned this bike.

2.5 years and only 6400 miles? Where do you live? North of the arctic circle? 4 day riding season?

Heh heh

Ha ha, I knew I'd catch crap for that on this site. Bum knee last year and other toys that also complete with riding time in that very short 6-7 month riding season in Northern NJ.

Classic car, show/fast/fun car, RV. And then there's those 15 hour work/commute days in NYC. Maybe in a few years when I retire...

Ha- every time I get ready to go do download I read a few more posts and decide to hold off. I haven't done the last 2 and except for a few quirks, it still seems to work ok with the old updates that are already on it. Oh well...we'll see. Thanks for the feedback.

If you use the GPS any, I'd at least go to 19.1. Before then, it would tell you to take a left instead of a right. Happen to me a few times.

That raises an interesting question, does each new update have ALL the improvements of the earlier updates or do you have to load and install each update in sequence to get all the benefits of all the updates?

Each new update has all the previous fixes plus whatever newly introduced bugs they inadvertently put in there.
