i was at version 1.19 and was having issues. Very slow startup and gps was slow to warn me about turns. Update to this version and now it seems to be operating much faster. Was wondering if this system needs to be booted like my win 7 computer when it slows down. Maybe a memory leak?
1) the USB drive must contain the uncompressed (unzipped) ISO file in the root directory
2) the USB drive should be formatted as FAT32
Mac/Apple users have the most problems getting this to work. I suspect it's because the default format for Mac/Apple product drives is HFS+ which will not work with the Infotainment system.
This is correct. Just use disk utility on your Mac and format your USB drive to FAT32. Had the same issue the first update I ever did (froze). Once formatted to FAT32 it downloaded just fine.
I installed mine and it does keep your last audio choice but now it takes about 40 seconds before you can press "ACCEPT". Before the update mine took about 20 seconds. Anybody else with the long wait?

Hi Everyone, did the download this morning. Plugged in the iPhone, went to Pandora and now I have popping and crackling from time to time while listing through my headset. Never did this before. So tired of the stupid downloads. Wish the so called genius who writes these programs would fix all the problems at once. Instead of one or two fixes at a time.
Ok, done with my temper tantrum!!!......can I come out of my room now?
