I have the Chippewa harness boots in black and brown, they have a Vibram sole that is superb. I've had the black boots for 7-8 years now and are still my favorite every day boots - I've had these boots through everything you can think of, and they still perform and clean up nicely. I'm just now having them re-soled, but only because the sole got a little smooth after all those years - but they certainly still have plenty of thick sole left.

The brown ones I've had for 4 years, and they still look and feel amazing. The Vibram sole is still very grippy on this brown pair (that's what prompted me to re-sole the black boots with the same Vibram sole, after I noticed that the brown boots gripped a little better when maneuvering the bike in parking lots.

The quality, build, durability and comfort of these boots is way up there. No complaints.
