I won't own any other boot than the Chippewa Super Logger line for work or pleasure. They are made in America and imo their is not a better quality boot made period. They will run you $250+ a pair but my last pair is 3 years old and still comfy as a slipper. The Super Logger is waterproof. I've worn them in 20-30 below zero temps in snow and they kept my feet toasty warm.

Red Wings, the American made ones. One pair waterproof and the other not. Comfortable, durable and look good.

Has anyone tried Caterpillar boots ?

I was thinking of trying the 'Second Shift' model (without steel toe).

They're not cheap, but they're the best! (just happens that I know a guy with a pair for sale)

Best boots I've owned hands down. I'm going on year #4 on one pair; they're beat up and the soles need to be replaced but they still have plenty of life in them. Absolutely worth the price tag.

I wear these in warmer weather: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/t...-gore-tex-boot

And these in cooler weather: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/t...gore-tex-boots

Light, comfortable, easy to walk in and 100% waterproof.

I was in a Cal Ranch store the other day looking at boots because I was interested in the White boots and yes they look like awesome boots but were $400.00 a pair. Little much for me
