I wore red Wings for 20 years now i wear them only for work and for the last 10 years I found that dedicated motorcycle boots are very comfortable and are totally waterproof . I have had Sidi , Tourmaster and now TCX

I had several pairs of 8" Bates laying around after I got out of the military, so I would wear them a lot. Very light and comfortable, but I recently bought a pair of TCX boots and love them. Very comfortable and completely waterproof. Yeah, not American made, but my Ultra isn't 100% either...

yeah, these arent made in the usa either, but like you said,
my ultra isnt all made here either..we ended up with harley branded wolverines, great boots, any other wolverines ive ever had lasted a long time. these look like they can be resoled as well so maybe the last boots ill buy as they will only be worn for riding. checked my receipt after posting, my boots were $125, hers were $105. mine had a price tag on them that said $190.00, hers were unmarked. like i said glad i stopped.
