I like Timberland Workboots. The vibram sole lug bottoms offer solid footing, they're all day comfortable on or off the bike, and they keep your feet dry in any kind of rain. The insulation also helps keep your feet warm or cool depending on the season. I really think they work great for the bike.

Chippewa Rally's = hard to beat. Check out reviews on various sites. Amazing for the price.

I have some Tyson Performance Boots from Harley Davidson.

These were the most comfortable new boots I have ever owned. They don't need any break-in period. Comfort is very important to me. If I am touring or just riding to work I want boots that I can walk around in when I get were I'm going.

Also I've had some Chippewa Rally boots since the early 90's. They're another great boot.

Got a pair of these. They have become so comfortable I wear them everyday. Dealer had one pair left and happened to be in my size and they took $40 off.

I've had two pairs of SIDI On-Roads over that past 16 years. Weather resistant and comfortable. They are not steel-toed, but provide ample protection around the calves as well. The toe and heel/ankle area are heavily reinforced to provide more than adequate impact protection for a comfort boot. Did I mention that they are super waaaaay comfortable?

I have these,
Amazon.com: Harley-Davidson Men's Colonel Boot,Black,7 M US: Shoes Amazon.com: Harley-Davidson Men's Colonel Boot,Black,7 M US: Shoes
. Had them for a few years now and still pretty comfortable.

And FWIW, Harley brand boots are made by Wolverine, which also makes Bates. So might be able to find some similar types through either of those.
