Default Low-Profile Solo Seat ?

Anyone running this seat on a '14 SGS yet ?
http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...k-smooth-vinyl
Is it lower than the stock SGS seat?
What about the width?
I'm not flat footed and figure I'll try a seat swap before I lower the front.
I have no need for a passenger seat and like the look of this solo.
I thought about sending my stock seat to get cut down at MCC but with the exchange rate our Cdn dollar is worth $0.56 US plus shipping both ways, I can buy a new seat for less $$

Thanks in advance

I put this seat on my 15 SGS. Not as low as the LePara Barebones, but much more comfortable. Definitely lower than stock seat.

Perfect, thanks wmprof
I had a Bare Bones on my Deluxe for back & forth to work and would put my stocker on for trips (comfort) so your answer sound like what I'm after.
At just under $365 Canadian it's cost effective at least

I just bought a CVO SG seat (52000172). Its very similar to the smooth solo but is leather. I paid $326 from surdyke. Just another option.

I also have the CVO seat on my 14 SG.I bought it in the US a couple of yrs ago before our dollar took a dive.I find it to be just a tad lower than the stock seat, and moves be back ever so slightly. It is way more comfortable than the Danny Gray Speed Cradle that I had on my 09,but for long trips(couple times a yr),I put on the stock seat.

BarryGreen that seat looks awesome with the amber whiskey and as you know I am copying my bike to look like yours LOL, have you been on a really long ride yet and how did it feel on your *** by the end. I'm only 165 lbs so just wondering how good the seat is for long rides. I have a LePera bare bones on my deuce and it's good for bar hopping but starts to kill your *** after a couple hundred miles. So thought I'd see what you think of yours, thanks

Lightweight...lol, I am 6'2" @240lbs and the longest I have ridden on that seat was almost 2hrs. I thought it was very comfortable.
And thanks for the complement!
