The low profile diamond seats(cvo road glide) along with the new cvo sg and cvo road king seats from 13 and 14 are the most comfortable Harley seats I have been on that still look good. It's certainly no ultra limited seat, but I've ridden 300 mile days on the low profile, 14 cvo road king, and 15-16 cvo sg seat without issue. Pick which one you like the looks of the best and you won't be disappointed. Nice to see HD finally making the low profile in black diamond without paying 600 from a cvo rg owner...

So what are you guys doing with the hole in the rear fender that secures the stock seat?
Thanks!

Harley has a fender hole plug for it, the black one requires the nut to be removed, the chrome cap just pushes into the fender nut.

So I found an upholstery shop in Edmonton, Ab that re-worked my stock seat for $140. All he does is custom motorcycle seats and has been doing so for 25 years. Guess I'll see how happy I am once the weather starts warming up.
I'll probably buy a solo down the road anyway but for now $140 is easier to swallow than $365

You can also buy the chrome screw with Harley logo. I use that as I run solo and also with matching pillon pad. The fender bib also works especially if the paint in marred from running stock or pillon.

I got the Lo-Profile Solo seat for my '15 SG. I wasn't flat footed with the stock seat, but I am with the Lo-Profile Solo. It's really comfortable for me. I also got the matching Lo-Profile passenger seat for the wife. She hates it! She said she won't get back on the bike until I get a new seat. So the search continues....
