Thanks for your comments Mr. Thorpe - she trimmed it the way she wanted to - and I rather like it.

I guess it sort of goes to say that we like different things as will others here. Difference is - I hope to be a bit more respectful should you share something in which I might not completely agree with

I have the HD regular backrest and it changed the amount of time I can ride tremendously. Now instead of my back being sore, my arms are the weak point, being addressed now by Yaffee bars. I also purchased the HD slip on cover that fits over the pad and has 2 pouches on the back side for the wife to keep her phone, pocket change purse and sunblock in. She loves it!
I haven't seen anyone mention it, but not only is there the 3 different locating holes to adjust the height and the forward position of the backrest in the mount, but there is also a screw that will adjust the pad forward for more push. It's located inside the seat back where it hinges. within the vinyl boot that covers the 2 spring loaded bars. You can grab the pad and pull it straight forward quite abit. (Not tilting down) Just gotta watch the screw though, it can work loose and fall out. Pretty loose fitting threads.

Looks good!

That looks excellent! Ties the backrest into the rest of the bike IMO.
