What a great product!!! I just got it in the mail today and cant wait to use it. I cannot believe I had not heard of this before. It has always driven me crazy trying to drain all the old oil out. If you have not seen this before go to www.roguechopper.com and watch the video. To those who did know, why didn't you tell me?
is this really an issue with touring bikes? on my old softail you were draining the oil tank and not the sump.. but on the touring bikes the drain plug is on the oil pan.
It's not like the old oil has cancer, I agree with what others have stated. A couples of ounces of old oil isn't going to hurt anything. Besides, what's next ... removing the timing cover to get another couple ounces from there too??
This Scavenger Total Oil Change System thing comes around again and again .
It is a fix for a non issue. total waste of time and money. But if t make someone sleep better go for it.
Or you could just fire the bike with the drain plug out for about 5 seconds. That will get another 6-8 oz of oil. Been doing it for years and years, over 200000 miles, never an issue. But, it is kind of messy.
